In late August, after I’d returned from my trip to the Southernmost country of the entire combined landmass of Europe, Asia and Africa, I also took a trip to the North West of Wales for a rainy, foggy, hike in the mountains of what was once called Snowdonia with some old friends. We wandered around Bangor, over a bridge to Ynys Mon, saw some dead jellyfish, visited a pier and looked towards the mountains and the sea in the distance. We also went to a castle, a museum about slate, a small museum about trains (inside the castle), an infamous station with a pointlessly long time and – while I cooked a nutritious and hearty meal off-screen – my friends spent several minutes working out how to play the ‘Tetris’ theme on my KORG Volca Keys synthesiser.
Here is a collage-type video of the many Welsh things we saw/looked at. Enjoy!
