This episode features readings from HIP-HOP-O-CRIT, a 2021 text published by BROKEN SLEEP BOOKS. The book predominantly consists of lyric sheets and digressions formatted as annotations to the low-quality hip-hop lyrics scott manley hadley wrote and released on their YouTube channel a decade ago.

This short episode of SCOTT MANLEY HADLEY: LIVE AT PARADISE features a reading of a long poem (or short poem cycle) titled ‘Death Bed’, and then a brief excerpt of a few of the rap lyrics the book contains. This is not a cover-to-cover reading of the book – this episode barely touches the sides!!!
