Rock and roll is to Christmas as Baby Jesus was to the angels. As God himself was to those Three Wise Men.

And from Three Wise Men to Three Unwise People: SOLID BALD is the bald synth pop alter-ego of mentally-ill bald poet and blogger scott manley hadley who here transforms into an entire three piece rock band, featuring a set of homemade drums and a homemade sound.

Blending biting sleazerock satire with cheeky lyrics imagining a Father Christmas figure who doesn’t hold people to naughty or nice dichotomies and instead forgives and thus comes for everyone (a Daddy figure, if you will), ‘Daddy Christmas, He’s Gonna Come (If You Want It)‘ is a welcome return to the XXXmas market from SOLID BALD, one of the most original and significant artists working today out of scott manley hadley’s bedroom.
